Elearning Unlocked launches!

Elearning Unlocked is a 12-month programme designed specifically for people designing elearning within charities.

Written by Gill Chester (with help from her colleagues at Little Man Project), the programme consolidates her knowledge and experience over 23 years in Learning and Development, with the last 14 years dedicated to working with charities.

Gill and her team are committed to building elearning that connects with its learners and engages them in a way that creates change, and they want to share this expertise with others through the Elearning Unlocked programme.

The course will run throughout 2024 and is split into seven units, offering an opportunity to:

Apply a range of instructional design theories when designing elearning.
Establish industry project management processes in your organisation.
Work effectively with Subject Matter Experts.
Design high-quality elearning that focuses on outcomes.
Conduct evaluations of your elearning programmes to assess their effectiveness and impact.
Develop connections with other people designing elearning in charities.

Each unit is supported by a workbook and a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS). This will be supported by ‘coffee mornings’ at the end of each unit, where learners can discuss what they found and ask any questions. Gill will hold sessions on the current unit at our members’ meetings throughout the year. Her sessions will focus on elements from the current unit. These sessions will be recorded and available to those who cannot attend.

The estimated commitment each month is around 3-5 hours.

In addition to the amazing programme content, participants will build an invaluable network and community of practice that will support each other during the programme and beyond.

The programme cost is an absolute steal at only £495 for our members. The cost to non-members working in the charity or third sector is just £595. Little Man Project know this sector well, so they are offering the option to delay your payment until the next financial year. They are also offering generous discounts for organisations booking more than one participant from their team or organisation.
