Clear Lessons, Powered by AI
We are now able to turn text-based content into high-quality, animated videos—fast! Send us a document, agree your characters and background, and boom—you get a professional video in a day or two.
And here’s the best part: instead of just a presenter talking at you, the videos use conversations, which research shows helps people remember information better.
AI BSL Digital Signer
We can now overlay AI-generated British Sign Language (BSL) translators on videos. It doesn’t matter what they are… it can be filmed video, talking heads or animations.
It’s quick, affordable, and makes videos truly inclusive for BSL users.
To recap on what was shared, you can view Gill’s slides or watch this recording.
These are new offerings which will be available soon. Please speak to your Membership Manager for more details.
Charity Recruitment & Job Search
We’re in the process of creating a dedicated recruitment and job search platform exclusively for the charity sector, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Finding the right people for your roles can be tough, which is why we’ve teamed up with hireful to build this platform.
It’s still a work in progress but by getting involved now, you can help shape a resource that connects charities with the talent they need.
If you’d like to be part of this project, please let you Membership Manager know.
The Charity Mentoring Network is centred around a community platform that connects organisations, staff and volunteers together, so that they can support one another by sharing their knowledge and expertise.
The next virtual coffee morning is on Thursday 3rd April 2025. Join us to find out more about the network and how to get involved.

Getting Real Value From Our LMS – Induction & Beyond…
| Stuart Hiles, Changeworks
Stuart shone light on the tangible benefits that have resulted from the redevelopment of Changework’s induction – from a traditional approach to an engaging blended model.
He talked us through how their partnership with CLC has enabled this, whilst building organisational compliance and supporting the attainment of a range of certifications.
Intertwined in this story was how Moodle activities such as ‘Book’, ‘Face-to-Face’ and ‘Checklist’ have added additional value to learners, the organisation… and the planet as a whole!

Sharing Your Shield
| Graham Walkinshaw, KeyWolf Coaching
In this interactive session, we had the chance to get to know one another, share perspectives, and learn from others. It included opportunities for reflection, building connections and looking forward to what’s ahead.

Unlocking Your Team’s Creativity for Innovation Transforming Your Training Into Effective Elearning
| Gill Chester, Little Man Project
Many elearning programmes start life as in-person training sessions. But making the shift from trainer-led events to self-paced, digital learning requires a shift in instructional models and careful execution.
In this practical session, Gill walked us through key considerations and actionable steps to ensure a smooth and effective transition. She left us with ideas and strategies to apply to our own projects.
Resources that Gill mentioned:

Getting started with AI
| John Fitzgerald, SCVO
Is AI an existential threat or a helpful assistant? John Fitzgerald, who leads SCVO’s digital evolution programme, explored how charities can use AI strategically and responsibly.
Having drawn on insights from sector leaders and SCVO’s latest AI guide, he highlighted key opportunities and risks, helping you make informed decisions for your organisation.
