eLearning design doesn’t have to be complicated, says Tom Kuhlmann, the world’s leading instructional designer. He’ll be inspiring delegates at an annual Masterclass in London in May, with practical ideas to create great resources.

Charities desperately need resources to support their staff – what better way to achieve that than to show them how to create great resources for themselves, says Martin Baker, head of The Charity Learning Consortium. And who better to show them just how simple that can be than the world’s leading eLearning guru Tom Kuhlmann… That’s the inspiration behind the annual Tom Kuhlmann Masterclass being held in London in May, hosted by The Charity Learning Consortium.

The cost of the two day workshop has been kept as low as possible, to make it affordable for charities, housing associations and not for profits. Freelancers and those working for corporate organisations are also welcome to attend, however, bringing a wealth of different skills and experiences to the event.

Tom Kuhlmann commented: “eLearning design can sound more complicated than it really is – I’m here to demonstrate how easy it can be to create great resources.”

Martin Baker, CEO and founder of the Consortium added: “Last year we were overwhelmed by the response. It was a really memorable workshop, with a great buzz in the room. Delegates went away with practical skills to inspire their eLearning, but they also really enjoyed meeting Tom – their eLearning ‘hero’!”

“The great mix of delegates in the room really enhances the day, with everyone contributing different ideas. This element of collaboration is at the heart of everything that we do.”

Day one of the Masterclass will focus on rapid eLearning essentials, while day two will be all about visual design & interactive learning. Tom will be leading all sessions, and they’ll be lots of collaborative discussion and hands on activities.

The Masterclass is being held in central London on 14 & 15 May. It’s a rare chance to work with Tom Kuhlmann, who is based in the USA, as it’s his only workshop in London in 2013. Booking is via The Charity Learning website. The two day Masterclass represents incredible value at £349, with further discounts for charities, housing associations and not for profits working in the voluntary sector.
